I won a My Beauty Diary(MBD) Pearl Powder Mask from Jen of Questjen‘s recent mini giveaway. Been wanting to try MBD masks for a long time but haven’t gone out to purchase it, so winning the mask was a fantastic way for me to try it out before I actually go and purchase the different masks.

MBD masks are from Taiwan and are very popular especially in Asia.

My Beauty Diary Pearl Powder Mask

Purpose:Whitening, hydrating

Skin type:All skin types

Characteristics:The variety of amino acids and trace elements present in natural pearl powder can penetrate deep into the skin for supple, radiant look. Essence from the Mulberry extract helps in the hydration of the skin. The vitamin B and Algae-Yeast complex activates and nourishes the skin. Licorice and Lemon extracts help the skin to regain its balance while obtaining the nourishment at the same time.

Ingredients:Purified water, Collagen, Glycerine, Glycine, Propylene Glycol, 1,3-Butylene Glycol, Extra fine pearl powder, Aloe, Licorice, Ginkgo Biloba, Lemon, L-Ascorbic acid , Azelaic acid, Green tea, Algae-Yeast complex, Mulberry, Hyaluronic acid, Nanospheres, Bio-active Silanols, Carbomer, Sodium hydroxide, Potassium hydroxide, Xanthan gum, Citric acid, Triethanolamine, Tween 20, Methyl paraben, Butyl paraben, Ethyl paraben, Propyl paraben, Perfume

Instructions:
1. Gently tear the package off the mask and place the mask onto the face.
2. Leave the mask on for about 20-30 minutes and remove after.
3. No need to rinse the excess, instead massage the remains onto the skin.
The mask felt very nice and cool against my face. Face is definitely brighter, plump and moisturised after using the mask.

Likes: Like that the mask is small so the essence in the mask doesn’t get onto my hair. Mask is thick so little of the essence is left in the satchet.

Dislikes: The bit between the nose and the lip area is a little thick so it touches my lip, but nothing a pair of scissors cannot fix.

Ratings: 5/5

Product: 5/5

Cost: Well I got it as a giveaway prize so it was free. But it is pretty affordable online so 5/5

Ease of Use: Like a normal mask, just adjust it on your face. 5/5

Packaging: Like the cute packaging. 5/5
